Candlelight Cabinetry is Hiring an Order Entry Specialist Near Lockport, NY
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Order Entry Specialist with Auto CAD experience_ to join our team. _
The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately entering orders into our system while utilizing Auto CAD software to ensure precise specifications are met.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately enter orders into the system following established procedures and guidelines.
- Review customer orders for completeness and accuracy, seeking clarification from sales or customers when necessary.
- Utilize CAD software to interpret technical drawings and specifications provided by customers.
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, and production teams to ensure orders are processed efficiently and meet customer requirements.
- Maintain organized records of orders, including drawings and specifications, to facilitate smooth production and delivery processes.
- Communicate with customers regarding order status, clarifications, and any potential issues.
- Assist in resolving order-related problems or discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve order entry processes and procedures.
- Stay updated on product specifications, AutoCAD software updates, and industry trends to enhance job performance.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or technical certification in CAD or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in order entry or similar administrative role.
- Proficiency in Auto CAD with 3D rendering.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and terminology is a plus.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
